The first 1.5 meters of the band are made of a slightly thicker, blue Biothane Gold Opaque. This largely prevents the leash from getting caught on the dog's legs. The center piece of the belt is made of Biothane Gold Opaque in bright orange. The last 2 meters of the band are made of bright yellow Biothane Gold Opaque so that the end of the line is visible early. A bulge at this point also lets you feel the approaching end of the belt.
