Oakley, in conjunction with the US Army Special Operations Command and with the Naval Special Warfare Dev.Group (DEVGRU), formerly SEAL TEAM 6 (Special Forces Maritime Warfare), has developed laser eye protection.
This protection has become essential with the ever-increasing use of tactical battlefield lasers.
LASER features: optical density of at least 4.0, wavelengths between 820nm and 850nm.
Optical density measured in both eye positions with a 64nm IPD.
- Optical performance, refractive power, astigmatism and optical clarity meet or exceed ANSI Z87.1-1989 requirements. Requirements to standard ANSI Z80.3-2001 met.
- Impact Resistance: Meets or exceeds ANSI Z87.1 requirements for high impact velocity and high mass impact.
- Laser lens lenses are interchangeable.
- Durability and scratch resistant like all other SI-Frame glasses. A-frame lenses additionally with anti-fog coating.
A-Frame Google Laser lens, optimized for better wearing comfort on combat helmets, thanks to the lower goggle profile.
