Whether your dog assists with daily activities or accompanies you on regular walks, this harness offers a practical combination of comfort and functionality.
Why Choose the Ray Allen Activ Dog Harness?
A reliable harness should provide comfortable support while making everyday handling easier.
The Ray Allen Activ Dog Harness offers several useful features:
- Durable 600D fabric for regular use
- ¼-inch padding for additional comfort
- Reflective strips across the back and sides
- Clear vinyl pocket for identification or credentials

These features make the harness suitable for handlers seeking practical equipment without unnecessary complexity.
Durable 600D Fabric with Comfortable Padding
The Ray Allen Activ Dog Harness is constructed from durable 600D fabric with approximately ¼ inch of padding.
This combination provides a sturdy exterior and a more comfortable contact surface against the dog’s body.
The padded design is particularly useful during activities that require the dog to wear a harness for extended periods.
The Ray Allen Activ Dog Harness is intended to support natural movement while offering convenient control during everyday tasks.
Its adjustable construction allows handlers to adapt the fit to their dog’s individual body shape.
A properly fitted harness should remain secure without creating unnecessary pressure or restricting movement.
Reflective Strips for Improved Visibility
Visibility is an important consideration when walking or working with dogs in low-light environments.
The Ray Allen Activ Dog Harness features reflective strips positioned across the back and sides.
These reflective details help make the harness more noticeable when illuminated by vehicle headlights, flashlights or other external light sources.
This is particularly useful during:
- Early-morning walks
- Evening outings
- Service dog activities in public spaces
- Low-light training sessions
- Everyday travel and outdoor activities
Reflective material improves visibility when light reaches it, but it does not replace dedicated lighting or other safety precautions.
Clear Identification Pocket for Service Dogs
The Ray Allen Activ Dog Harness includes a clear vinyl pocket designed to display identification cards, credentials or other relevant information.
This feature can be particularly convenient for service dog handlers who want important identification to remain visible and accessible.
The pocket provides a practical alternative to carrying identification separately during daily activities.
The Ray Allen Activ Dog Harness is designed with assistance work in mind, offering features that help handlers manage their dogs and essential equipment.
Displaying identification does not itself establish a dog’s legal status as a service or assistance animal.
Multiple D-Rings and Integrated Handle
The Ray Allen Activ Dog Harness includes several attachment points for different handling requirements.
A heavy-duty D-ring positioned on the middle of the back provides a convenient connection point for a leash or lead.
Additional D-rings on both sides of the harness are intended for suitable pulling or carting applications.
The integrated back handle offers another grip point when close handling is required.
A plastic swivel snap provides additional attachment functionality.
Together, these features make the Ray Allen Activ Dog Harness a flexible option for handlers who require more than a basic walking harness.
Always ensure that the intended activity is appropriate for the dog’s physical condition and that any attached equipment is used correctly.
Adjustable Chest and Girth Straps
A secure fit is essential for both comfort and effective handling.
The Ray Allen Activ Dog Harness features a chest strap with two-way adjustment and an adjustable girth strap.
These adjustments allow the harness to accommodate different body proportions while supporting the dog’s mobility.
The design is intended to let dogs work, walk, run and jump without unnecessary restriction.
Before each activity, check that the harness sits correctly and does not rub against the shoulders, chest or armpits.
Suitable for Service Work and Everyday Activities
Although originally designed as a service dog harness, the Ray Allen Activ Dog Harness is also suitable for a variety of everyday activities.
Typical applications include:
- Service and assistance dog handling
- Daily walks and outdoor exercise
- Light hiking and recreational outings
- General dog training
- Everyday leash control
- Appropriate pulling or carting activities
The combination of padding, adjustable straps and practical attachment points makes it a useful choice for active dogs and their handlers.

Important Safety Information
The Ray Allen Activ Dog Harness should be correctly fitted and inspected before use.
Check all straps, buckles, D-rings, stitching and the handle for wear or damage.
Although the harness includes side D-rings for pulling or carting applications, it should not be assumed suitable for unrestricted load-bearing activities.
The standard model is not a certified lifting, rappelling or mobility-support harness.
Handlers requiring a specialized rigid support handle should consider the separate metal-handle configuration.
Care and Maintenance
Remove dirt and debris from the fabric, reflective strips and fastening hardware after use.
Clean the harness according to the manufacturer’s care recommendations and allow it to dry thoroughly before storage.
Inspect the clear identification pocket for damage and ensure that the adjustment straps remain secure.
Regular maintenance helps preserve comfort, visibility and reliable functionality.
