Treibball flamed Ø55 to Ø75 cm
Treibball flamed Ø55 to Ø75 cm
Professional Treibball / Gymnastics ball for your dog
The perfect gym ball for dog training. The ball has a mix of different colors (flamed). These balls have an anti-burst system. The anti-burst system ensures that the ball slowly deflates (and does not pop) if it becomes punctured by external influences. The dog will therefore not be frightened if the ball is damaged.
The balls are suitable for Treibball, but can also be used as a gymnastics ball for balance and stability training. To make the ball less vulnerable to the nails, you can put a cloth over it or clip the dog's nails well.
The balls meet the highest environmental and safety standards and are latex-free.
Brand: Gymnic
Diameter: Ø55, Ø65 or Ø75 cm
Treibball
Treibball is a sport that is gaining a lot of popularity. Because this sport is not very stressful, this fun sport is suitable for all people and all four-legged friends (also for young and old dogs and dogs with a disability).
All types and breeds of dogs can actually do this, provided they are willing to cooperate with their handler.
This young dog sport is mainly about ball control and cooperation: the dog must learn to bring balls to his handler on instructions. So it is not just a bit of playing with the ball, but above all good cooperation with your boss.
Everyone can practice it at their own level: you can train for and participate in competitions, but you can also just keep playing 'balls' with your dog at home.
There are all kinds of variations on the treibball game, just look at the videos for ideas www.treibballfilmpjes.blogspot.com
What do you need for Treibbal?
When learning the treibball game you start with one ball. For a game of treibbal you need a minimum of 3 balls and a maximum of 8 balls (depending on the level). Keep in mind that, especially in the beginning, there is a risk that your dog will bite a ball.
It is important that the balls are 'anti-burst': that means that if they unexpectedly become punctured, they will not pop, but will deflate slowly.
The balls are fragile, so it's important that your dog learns to respect them. The dog is not allowed to chase it and certainly not bite into it, because before you know it the dog will simply bite into balls worth tens of euros.
Furthermore, a grass field, and 'goal', you can make this with 2 pawns, rewards and a little patience.
What size Treibball do I need?
- Large dog, large ball, small dog, small(er) ball: dogs with a shoulder height of up to and including 40 centimeters officially work with balls with a diameter of 45 centimeters, dogs higher than 40 centimeters with balls of 65 centimeters.
