If you want to start with balance training or if the dog is unsure, the base is ideal for use in combination with a balance cushion or a Donut
The chassis is a good tool if the dog is inexperienced with an unstable surface. The base gives the balance cushion more stability. You can start with the chassis and when the dog has built up more muscle strength and has a better balance, you can offer the dog more of a challenge by leaving out the chassis.
This bowl, in combination with a balance cushion, is suitable for dogs of all ages. Use to work on balance, proprioception and strength.
Senior dogs with impaired balance will also benefit greatly from the chassis. Dogs with neurological or orthopedic problems can work safely with a balance cushion in combination with the base.
