BIA Ortho Mattress is handmade by the Swedish BIA AB. One of the advantages of the BIA Ortho Mattress is that it fits in the standard bench.

The BIA Ortho Mattress has proven itself over the years as the most ideal pressure-reducing bed that reduces joint pain. This is because the BIA Ortho Mattress consists of two layers of polyether. These layers each consist of one whole, it is not a crumbled orthopedic foam. The top layer of Orthopedic polyether (Celsius™) molds to your dog's body.

In this way it relieves the pressure points at hips, knees and shoulders. The bottom layer of BIA polyether prevents the BIA Ortho Mattress from sagging.

Due to the combination of the two layers, the BIA Ortho Mattress distributes the body weight evenly, which relieves muscle and joint pains. It is covered with a sturdy, detachable synthetic leather cover in the color black. The model is timeless and well thought-out.

All this ensures that the BIA Ortho Mattress is extremely suitable for the dog with osteoarthritis and the old(er) dog that wishes you a well-deserved old age.

The core of the BIA Ortho Mattress

With these pillars in mind, the BIA designers have designed a dog bed with the BIA Ortho Mattress that provides excellent pressure distribution under load, regardless of body weight or size.

The top layer of the BIA Ortho Bed consists of a layer of Celsius™. Celsius™ is memory foam made from viscoelastic polyurethane foam. Memory foam reacts to (body) heat, so that it springs more in places with a heavy load than in places with a light load. As a result, the memory foam forms to the contours of the dog's body, creating an optimal pressure distribution without overloading.

If the core of the bed consisted only of memory foam, your pet could sink to the floor. This would still lead to joint complaints. For this is the bottom layer.

The bottom layer of the BIA Ortho Mattress consists of freon-free polyether, which provides strength and protects against cold. The freon-free polyether is class 1, which means that it is approved for direct contact with babies and small children. The soft memory foam layer on top belongs to the mattress.
