Fully multi-coated lenses with 21 layers, ensuring high light transmission, contrast and resolution. The reticle is etched in glass to resist large caliber recoil, and is illuminated with 11 brightness settings in red color, which is usable in the dark and even in bright daylight.

The main tube of the Hawke Frontier is made from a single piece of aluminum for greater strength. The mounting diameter is 30 mm so that many mounting solutions are available. The entire housing is filled with dry nitrogen to prevent internal fogging at low temperatures.
