The Moose Hunter 2.0 GTX Pants are an improvement on our very popular Moose Hunter Pants. They are shell trousers, developed with special attention to big game hunting. But they have proved very popular for all kinds of hunting under tree cover.
One of the improvements is that the Moose Hunter 2.0 GTX pant features the new Mossy Oak® Red camouflage. It is much easier to see for other hunters and vice versa, but is simply invisible to ungulates.

Like the Moose Hunter 2.0 GTX Jacket, the Moose Hunter 2.0 GTX Pants are made from a brushed tricot fabric. It is soft and quiet and has been given a dirt and water repellent DWR treatment.
The trousers have a breathable, abrasion-resistant and completely wind and waterproof GORE-TEX membrane that can withstand gusts of wind and rain.
They are also reinforced at the ankles with a tough Cordura® fabric and have a mesh lining on the inside to wick moisture away from the skin.
Like the other garments in the Moose Hunter 2.0 range, the pants feature a mix of camo, Mossy Oak® Break-Up Country® and the new Mossy Oak® Red.
Ungulates are red/green colorblind. The new Mossy Oak® Red camouflage is even better than previous blaze designs at camouflaging the hunter from the game while making it much more visible to other hunters.

The Moose Hunter 2.0 GTX pant features both front and thigh pockets, all with waterproof zips, and ventilation zips with protective storm flaps on the rear thighs.
The right thigh pocket contains a cartridge holder. The pants also have shaped knees and ankle straps and adjustments behind the knee. This creates more space around the knees, which is useful for hunters who need a lot of freedom of movement.
Hooks are sewn to the ankles to attach the trousers to your boots. which is useful for hunters who need a lot of freedom of movement.
