What is Halapur?
Halapur is a combined cleaning and disinfection agent that derives its effectiveness from a quaternary ammonium compound.
The agent is used in the food industry, the recreation sector and healthcare, among others.
Halapur competes against bacteria and yeasts, which makes the cleaning and disinfection agent particularly suitable for cleaning and disinfecting relatively clean surfaces, for example in laboratories.
The product is also used for disinfection of areas where people stay and in the catering industry.
Halapur has a short exposure time.
It can be used, among other things, with a foam lance (at low pressure), which creates a solid foam layer that adheres well to vertical surfaces.
The cleaning and disinfection agent is not corrosive to metals and other materials.
The disinfecting effect of Halapur is based on the absorption of micro-organisms into the wall.
This changes the permeability of the cell wall and causes the cell contents of the microorganism to leak out. This results in the death of the microorganism. Resistance formation is therefore not ruled out.
Alternating use of Halamid is therefore recommended. Use biocides safely. Before use, read the label and product information.
