SEELAND Polar Max Jacket

The Polar Max is the absolute warmest hunting jacket in Seeland. The jacket is waterproof and has a WindBeater membrane, in addition to 250 grams of wadding, the thickest there is.
It also has microfleece on the inside of the jacket and hood to retain heat. Polyester lining in the sleeves makes arm insertion easy.
The jacket features the groundbreaking ThinsulateTM technology, which uses an insulating membrane made up of fine microfibers that work together to trap warm air molecules.
Once the body has warmed up, the Thinsulate helps maintain temperature while allowing moisture to be wicked away through the outer membrane.
The jacket has a detachable hood and the collar of the hood is higher than normal, so that the wearer can be completely enclosed by the jacket and keep the cold out when needed.

The parts of the jacket that are most subject to wear are reinforced for extra strength.

The lower part of the jacket is made of Oxford nylon, which is water-repellent.
It also has some useful pockets. A radio pocket, a fleece lined hand warmer, an inside pocket and two large front pockets with quick load straps and a pocket behind the front pockets, usually used to rest your shooting arm.
Other features include a two-way zip and popper fastening, adjustable hood, wrists and hem and soft storm cuffs with thumbholes to keep the wind out.
In combination with the Polar Max trousers and mittens you have an excellent insulating hunting suit, suitable for both rifle and shotgun use, even when the temperature is well below freezing.
