Electronically controlled heating plate

To minimize the risk of infection for your dog in the wet cold season, we recommend our heat plates. Wet fur dries faster and poses no health risk. Even on cold frosty nights, your four-legged friend will feel comfortable on the temperate surface.

When lying on the heating mat, a pleasant heat build-up is created for the dog. The heating plate therefore produces more heat for the animal than the temperatures that can be measured when not in use would suggest. The plates should not get hot, then it will be too hot for the animal because of the fur.

The monthly electricity costs are very low due to the electronic control. Installation in existing dog houses is also possible without any problems.

Technical concept:

• The electronically controlled heating plate consists of a robust, scratch and waterproof glued plywood panel in which the heating cables and the temperature sensor are incorporated; Total thickness approx. 21 mm.
• An approx. 3 m long cable leads from the heating plate to the splash-proof control housing, where a transformer ensures that the heating plate is only operated with a low voltage of 20 volts. This means safety for humans and animals.
• With the control unit, the temperature is freely selectable and adjustable from approx. 15°C to approx. 32°C with degree accuracy.
• The power consumption is 150 to 180 watts per m² in the heating phase.
• Proven electronics ensure that the set floor temperature in the cabin is not lowered or exceeded. The plate is only heated until the desired temperature is reached.
• The control unit has an approx. 3 m long cable for connecting the heating plate to a 230-volt socket.

Particularities:

The heat plates can be ordered in our store for our offered dog house sizes, but also for cat litter boxes and in various standard sizes.

To ensure that the heating plate fits exactly in your dog house, special dimensions can be made up to a size of 3 m², with side lengths of up to 125 x 250 cm.

When measuring the size, make sure that the sheet is one centimeter per side smaller than the actual inside size of the cabin. You can then spray the resulting compound with silicone to prevent liquid from running behind the heat plate.

For animal shelters, dog kennels and other facilities, control units can be manufactured that can control 4 heating plates at the same time.

NB:
The heat plates for our dog house sizes “Napoleon”, “Lassie” and “Dino” are also suitable for the corresponding cabins with front room, if you only want to heat the interior of the dog house.
