The STS-K9 is the latest generation dog bulletproof vest from Sioen Balistics, developed in collaboration with intervention units.
This vest is based on a large number of feedback from French and foreign dog handlers. It sets a new standard for the protection of dogs affected during high-risk missions.

Whether it's protection, flexibility or ergonomics, the STS K9 is a unique product. It offers bulletproof and knife-resistant protection of different levels, while preserving the animal's mobility and comfort as much as possible.

Benefiting from the latest developments in ballistics, this vest offers 270° protection (back, abdomen and sides), protecting vital organs.
It is quick to put on and thanks to spacers it can be adjusted to the size of the animal.
On the material side, the vest is mainly made of mesh for maximum ventilation, Cordura for the parts subject to friction and the elastic parts to make the vest more comfortable.

This harness has several carrying points, allowing the handler to hook a line forward or backward, to carry out driving commands, but also to carry the dog on the back or at arm's length. The three straps go around the animal to distribute the traction over a wide and comfortable surface for the dog, they then close to the area of the CObra Austrialpin buckles (two adjustable straps are included)

For missions that include a fluvial or marine component, the buoyancy pack compensates for the weight of the vest in the event the dog falls into the water. absorption of the rear deformation of the ballistic packs upon an ammunition impact).

This harness is made of materials that have a fire retardant effect.
