Indication(s):

For a healthy immune system, for after recovery, use of medication

Properties per ingredient:
Vitamin A: has an important function in the cell division of epithelial cells and has a positive effect on eye function, growth and reproduction.

Vitamin B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12: The B vitamins are important for energy metabolism. They are part of many reactions related to the conversion of food into energy (eg citric acid cycle, glycolysis, oxidative phosphorylation).
They are also important in other reactions in which carbohydrates, fats and amino acids are metabolized. The B vitamins are also important for the functioning of the nervous system. Skin, hair and mucous membranes improve in condition through the use of B vitamins.

Vitamin C:

activates the immune system and is important in collagen formation of tendons and ligaments. Although most animals can produce this themselves, under some circumstances a deficiency can occur.

Vitamin D:

regulates calcium and phosphorus levels in the blood by promoting absorption from food in the gut. It also ensures reabsorption of calcium and phosphorus in the kidneys. It promotes bone formation and mineralization of the bone tissue and stimulates the immune system.
It can be produced by the body under the influence of sunlight. Horses that are stabled a lot can have a shortage of this.

Vitamin E:

has an antioxidant effect, it protects unsaturated fatty acids against free radicals. It has a positive effect on the blood vessels, prevents the formation of blood clots, improves blood circulation and strengthens the capillary walls.
Vitamin E plays a role in the formation and protection of red blood cells against toxins. It supplies organs and especially the muscles with oxygen. It plays a role in the transmission of nerve impulses.

Bioflavonoids (95% Hesperidin): have an anti-oxidative effect and improve the absorption of vitamin C. They also ensure healthy blood vessels and good blood circulation.

Folic acid: is a B vitamin. It plays an important role in methylation processes and is thus important in cell division and in growth and differentiation processes. It is also involved, together with vitamin B12, in the breakdown of proteins and in amino acid metabolism.
Furthermore, folic acid and vitamin B12 help in the production of red blood cells.

Inositol: is closely associated with choline and is an important nutrient for brain cells; It

improves stress management.

PABA (para-aminobenzoic acid): is important, among other things, for the health of the intestinal system and the skin. It is also involved in the functioning of immune cells and red blood cells.

Bamboo extract: contains Silicon. This is important for the condition of connective tissue and vessel walls. It causes an increase in collagen.

Calcium: is important for bone and tooth building and plays an important role in muscle contraction.

Dosage and Application:

Unless the doctor or therapist prescribes otherwise.

The optimal dose is once a day

  • Dog > 25 kg 4 scoops
  • Dog 10-25 kg 2½ scoop
  • Dog < 10 kg and cat 1 scoop

1 scoop contains approximately 1 gram.

If it is difficult in practice to administer this product several times a day, 1 time per day or 1 time per 2 days will suffice. Then give the maximum dose of one day. Even then, this product can be used effectively, but the reaction may take a little longer.

Administration
Moisten the powder so that it cannot be blown out of the feeder.

Advice for use

To keep the resistance optimal, it is necessary that an animal receives all the necessary vitamins and minerals in sufficient quantities. In the autumn, the resistance of many dogs – just like humans – decreases slightly, for example, due to the change in the weather and the switch from summer to winter coat.
To prevent an animal from becoming susceptible to diseases, good Vitamins and Minerals supplements can be given preventively.
PUUR Vitamins and Minerals contains a balanced composition of all the necessary vitamins and minerals and can be given excellently as a supplement to the food, for example in older dogs or puppies.
It can also be supplemented very well as an extra helping hand after, for example, recovery from illness. Contrary to what is often claimed, when supplementing with vitamins and mineral preparations it is necessary to give the supplement for a longer period of time.
A single 'vitamin shot' per injector, as is often recommended, has little effect and certainly not in the longer term. The body needs time to recover and to absorb all vitamins and minerals in sufficient quantities and that cannot be done in one day!

Treatment duration

In an acute situation, the duration of treatment is relatively short. This can vary from 2 to 6 weeks. If there is improvement, continue with the administration of this product for several weeks.

With prolonged discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks. Upon improvement, a maintenance dose can be used. This is usually half the dosage indicated on the packaging.
When dosing this product, carefully observe the reaction of the animal. A higher dose may be required in the beginning, this product can be safely given in a double dose. Reduce the dose gradually to the lowest possible dose. This product can be given permanently.
