Anti-rotation manual control system for Kit EVEREST designed for recovering the helicopter hoist.
The system is operated using the lever and provides control of the spinning effect (due to downwash) that occurs during helicopter recovery.

The anti-rotation rudder is attached to the lower stretcher section (rescuer's right hand) using two Velcro fasteners.
The VAR is also located on the foot side and the handle is directed towards the patient's head.
There are two slots on the underside of the rudder that allow for the external closing straps of the EVEREST bag to be properly attached.
