Canicom GPS set
The Canicom GPS set is a very attractive alternative to established dog tracking systems on the market.
The Canicom GPS set consists of a transmitter collar and a hand receiver with display. Thanks to the simple menu navigation, the operation can be learned quickly.
The handset display shows the direction and distance to the dog on a compass.
The handheld device can be connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth. In addition to the direction display, a map (Google Maps) can then also be displayed on the smartphone.
The system can operate on 8 different channels. Up to 20 Transmitter Collars can be trained per Receiver Unit.
Thanks to the latest digital technology, there can be considerably more than 20 transmitters in one area/neighborhood. The devices of different dog handlers do not overlap!
For the European market, 6 channels in the frequency range 169.4 to 169.475 MHz (registration-free) can be selected.
For the French market, there are two additional frequencies (155.6 and 162.25 MHz) with a stronger transmission power, which may only be used there and must therefore be registered.
The technically possible range (depending on the terrain) is 15 km.
