The BIA Bed and Mattress are supplied with the corresponding cover as standard.
The cover of the Original and Ortho series is made of artificial leather, the Outdoor series of Outdoor material.

All BIA covers are detachable, so you can replace them. Are you ready for a new cover, do you want a different color or other material, then the covers can be ordered separately. This way you can easily have a 'new' BIA Bed or Mattress.

All BIA covers are detachable and can go directly around the core. You cannot pull an artificial leather cover over an Outdoor cover, or vice versa. Check the core before buying a new cover. It's a shame if you bought a new cover while the bed or mattress is worn out.

The main advantage of artificial leather is that it is easy to clean. Hair, vermin and 'accidents' are no problem: a damp cloth and green soap, and the cover is clean again.

The flat and smooth seams prevent vermin, such as fleas and ticks, from hiding. If you are ready for a new cover, you can zip it off and therefore easily replace it.

The artificial leather is made of polyurethane. Polyurethane is a fabric that has a special coating that gives it the appearance of leather.

Obtaining genuine leather is at the expense of living animals and the processing of genuine leather places a heavy burden on the environment. Of course, the artificial leather is free of toxic lead.

Why artificial leather?

• The BIA Leatherette cover is easy to keep clean.
• The imitation leather cover with flat and smooth stitching prevents vermin such as fleas and ticks from hiding. Anti-flea products are unnecessary.
• Artificial leather is hypoallergenic and is therefore recommended by veterinarians for dogs with allergies.
