Lid for whelping box V2.

Optionally for each whelping box V2, a lid is available that is adapted to the respective size of the whelping box and covers half of the whelping box.

Based on the conditions in nature, the lid creates a cave effect that suits the instinctive behavior of the dogs and that is why they like it a lot. The whelping box becomes a comfortable “whelping cave”. In addition, the puppies are even better protected against drafts and heat loss under the lid. The front half of the whelping box remains open, so that an unimpeded exchange of air is possible and you can observe the dogs well.

The lid can be quickly and easily installed or removed as needed. Like the whelping box, it is made of coated plywood and has a robust and scratch-resistant surface. The lid is fitted with aluminum profiles or corners all around, which protect the edges and also serve to keep the lid securely on the whelping box.
