Monitor function: The monitor button bypasses the squelch so that it can also receive signals that are too weak to keep the squelch open at all times.

Squelch mode (noise reduction): Mutes the speaker when no signal is received. This suppresses background noise in the free channels and enables reception of even weak signals.

Scan function: automatic monitoring of the individual radio channels. Activated once channel 16 is set. Channels 1 to 15 are scanned automatically.

Voice Announcement: The announcement of the channel number and the activation of the device are programmed in English.
