Nomad Patrol Body™ included
An important difference between the basic Nomad Harness Frame and the Ray Allen Nomad Patrol Combo Harness™ is the included Nomad Patrol Body™.
The Patrol Body adds a mesh body panel to the open harness frame. This provides additional surface area for attaching equipment, identification panels and compatible MOLLE accessories while maintaining ventilation around the dog’s body.
The mesh construction is designed to help keep the dog cooler during demanding work.
This makes the Patrol Combo particularly practical for handlers who already know they want a more complete patrol-oriented configuration instead of starting with the basic frame alone.
Laser-cut MOLLE/PALS for K9 equipment
The Ray Allen Nomad Patrol Combo Harness™ features laser-cut MOLLE based on the PALS system.
This provides a versatile platform for attaching compatible K9 equipment without unnecessarily complicating the basic harness construction.
Compatible pouches and accessories can be positioned according to the handler’s requirements. The harness is also compatible with Ray Allen’s G-hook backpacks, general-purpose pouches and other suitable harness accessories.
This modular approach allows the handler to carry only the equipment required for a particular task.
Four 500 lb GT Cobra buckles
The harness uses four polymer AustriAlpin GT Cobra buckles.
Each buckle has a load test rating of 500 lb, approximately 227 kg. The polymer GT Cobra construction combines substantial strength with reduced weight compared with a metal buckle configuration.
Ray Allen also produces the Nomad Patrol Combo with metal Cobra buckles. This version specifically uses the lighter polymer GT Cobra hardware.

Three integrated control handles
The Ray Allen Nomad Patrol Combo Harness™ has three strategically positioned handles.
