Its lightweight mesh construction makes it particularly suitable for active dogs that require comfortable equipment during tracking, search exercises and outdoor training.

The Ray Allen Icon Air Harness features four GT Cobra buckles, three integrated handles, two V-rings and a modular attachment system.

Unlike the more extensively covered Icon Harness™, this Air version prioritizes airflow while maintaining reinforced webbing and practical handling features.

Manufactured in the USA, it offers a versatile solution for professional handlers, trainers and dedicated working-dog owners.

The Ray Allen Icon Air Harness combines durable construction with features designed for demanding canine activities.

Key advantages include:

These features provide a flexible platform for handlers seeking strength, ventilation and modular functionality.

The Ray Allen Icon Air Harness is designed with ventilation as a central priority.

Its mesh construction allows air to circulate more freely around the dog’s body compared with a more extensively covered harness.

This is particularly beneficial for deep-chested dogs and working breeds with thick coats.

The Ray Allen Icon Air Harness is suitable for activities where sustained movement can increase body temperature, including tracking and search exercises.

The breathable design supports comfort but does not eliminate the risk of overheating.

Handlers should continue to provide water, rest periods and appropriate temperature management.

The Ray Allen Icon Air Harness features two top-mounted handles and a low-profile vertical center handle.

These provide accessible grip positions for close handling, controlled repositioning and appropriate assisted lifting.

The manufacturer designs the reinforced strap structure to help distribute forces during handling.

The Ray Allen Icon Air Harness is therefore useful when handlers need to guide a dog over obstacles or assist with vehicle entry.

Lifting and lowering activities must be appropriate for the dog’s condition and performed using suitable procedures.

The handles should not be treated as authorization for unrestricted suspension or high-risk lifting.

The Ray Allen Icon Air Harness uses four GT Cobra buckles, each carrying a manufacturer-stated individual load rating of 500 lb.

These secure fastening components work with reinforced Cordura webbing to support the harness’s structural design.

Ray Allen also states a 2,000 lb harness load rating.

The Ray Allen Icon Air Harness should nevertheless be used only within the manufacturer’s intended applications and with correctly configured equipment.

Important: A stated load rating does not automatically establish a certified safe working load for every lifting or lowering arrangement.

The Ray Allen Icon Air Harness features laser-cut MOLLE/PALS attachment areas with a VELCRO® component.

Three G-hook loops on each side allow compatible accessories to be connected securely.

The system supports selected Ray Allen modular products, including G-hook backpacks and general-purpose pouches.

The Ray Allen Icon Air Harness can therefore be adapted for different training requirements without replacing the complete harness.

Compatible accessories may include:

Accessories are sold separately unless explicitly included in the selected product configuration.

The Ray Allen Icon Air Harness includes a padded chest and belly section designed to distribute pressure during movement and handling.

Its profile slopes from the shoulders toward the mid-rib area, helping preserve the dog’s natural range of motion.

This construction is particularly relevant during running, walking, tracking and other active exercises.

The Ray Allen Icon Air Harness combines the padded support area with breathable mesh to balance comfort and functionality.

Correct fitting remains essential to prevent rubbing or unwanted pressure.

Why Choose the Ray Allen Icon Air Harness?
