Custom-built and handmade in Colorado, USA, this harness is developed for service dog handlers who require accessible equipment for everyday activities.

The Ray Allen Activ Dog Harness w/ Handle features durable 600D fabric, a padded body, reflective strips and multiple attachment points.

Its metal handle provides an elevated grip position, while a swivel connection allows the dog to move more naturally around obstacles, furniture and wheelchairs.

This combination makes the harness a practical choice for trained assistance dogs and handlers seeking greater convenience during daily activities.

The Ray Allen Activ Dog Harness w/ Handle offers several features designed for comfort, visibility and everyday handling.

Key advantages include:

These features make the harness particularly useful for handlers who need a comfortable service dog harness with an accessible raised handle.

The Ray Allen Activ Dog Harness w/ Handle features a sturdy metal handle designed to provide an elevated grip point.

Unlike the standard Activ Dog Harness, this configuration includes a raised metal support handle.

The handle is available in three lengths, allowing handlers to select an option based on their reach and the dog’s height.

The Ray Allen Activ Dog Harness w/ Handle can be used for appropriate close handling, guidance and trained assistance tasks.

Its raised design may be especially convenient for handlers who find it difficult to reach a conventional low-profile harness handle.

Handle selection should consider the dog’s physical condition, training and the handler’s individual requirements.

Important: The metal handle should not automatically be considered suitable for full human body-weight support or fall prevention.

A distinctive feature of the Ray Allen Activ Dog Harness w/ Handle is its sturdy swivel connection.

This mechanism is designed to accommodate the dog’s movement while the handler maintains contact with the handle.

The swivel can be particularly useful when navigating around:

The Ray Allen Activ Dog Harness w/ Handle allows the dog to change position without requiring the handler to constantly adjust their grip.

This can make controlled movement more convenient during suitable assistance dog activities.

The Ray Allen Activ Dog Harness w/ Handle is constructed from durable 600D fabric with approximately ¼ inch of padding.

The padded design provides a more comfortable contact surface against the dog’s body during regular wear.

Its construction is intended to balance durability with the mobility required for everyday service dog work.

The Ray Allen Activ Dog Harness w/ Handle features adjustable straps that help handlers achieve a secure fit without unnecessary restriction.

A properly fitted harness should allow the dog to walk, run and perform trained tasks comfortably.

The Ray Allen Activ Dog Harness w/ Handle includes reflective strips across the back and sides.

These reflective details improve visibility when illuminated by external light sources, such as vehicle headlights or flashlights.

This feature is useful during early-morning walks, evening outings and low-light training sessions.

The Ray Allen Activ Dog Harness w/ Handle combines these visibility features with practical identification and attachment options.

Reflective material does not replace dedicated lighting or other appropriate safety measures.

The Ray Allen Activ Dog Harness w/ Handle includes a clear vinyl pocket for displaying identification cards or credentials.

This allows handlers to keep selected information visible and accessible during daily activities.

A heavy-duty D-ring on the middle of the back provides a leash attachment point.

Additional D-rings on both sides are intended for suitable pulling or carting configurations.

The Ray Allen Activ Dog Harness w/ Handle also includes a plastic swivel snap for additional handling functionality.

Always ensure that attached equipment is appropriate for the dog’s training, physical condition and intended activity.

The Ray Allen Activ Dog Harness w/ Handle features a chest strap with two-way adjustment and an adjustable girth strap.

These adjustments help accommodate different body proportions while allowing natural movement.

Correct fitting is especially important when using a raised handle, as poor adjustment can create unwanted pressure or movement.

Check that the harness sits securely without rubbing against the dog’s shoulders, chest or armpits.

The Ray Allen Activ Dog Harness w/ Handle is available in three harness sizes.

The metal handle is available in three lengths:

Measure the dog’s girth around the widest part of the rib cage, behind the front legs.

Choose the handle length according to the dog’s height and the handler’s preferred reach.

The Ray Allen Activ Dog Harness w/ Handle must be correctly fitted and inspected before use.

Although the harness features a sturdy metal handle, the manufacturer does not publish a certified whole-system load capacity in the standard product description.

Do not assume suitability for full body-weight support, fall prevention, lifting or suspended applications.

Specialized mobility assistance should be assessed with qualified professionals and must match the dog’s physical capabilities and training.

Inspect the handle, swivel connection, straps, buckles and stitching regularly.

Remove dirt and debris from the fabric, reflective strips and fastening hardware after use.

Clean according to the manufacturer’s recommendations and allow the harness to dry thoroughly before storage.

Regularly inspect the metal handle and swivel connection for damage, unusual movement or wear.

Discontinue use if structural damage is detected.

The Ray Allen Activ Dog Harness w/ Handle combines padded comfort, reflective visibility and a sturdy raised metal handle in one professional assistance dog harness.

With its adjustable construction, swivel mechanism and multiple attachment points, it offers practical versatility for trained service dogs and their handlers.

At Dogpride NL, we supply professional equipment for assistance dog handlers, trainers and working-dog teams.

Choose the Ray Allen Activ Dog Harness w/ Handle for outstanding comfort, accessible handling and exceptional everyday
