Developed for professional K9 handlers, police units, military working dogs and dog trainers, this extension adds 5 inches (approximately 12.7 cm) to the girth of an existing nylon harness.

Featuring durable nylon webbing and a reliable GT Cobra buckle connection, it offers a convenient alternative to replacing an otherwise functional harness when additional adjustment is required.

Compatible with selected Ray Allen harnesses, including the Nomad Patrol Combo Harness and Icon Harness, the Nylon Harness Extension helps handlers maintain a comfortable and secure fit as their dog’s body measurements change.

A correctly fitted harness is essential for comfort, mobility and effective handling during professional K9 activities.

The Ray Allen Nylon Harness Extension offers several practical advantages:

This simple accessory allows professional handlers to extend the usable fit range of compatible equipment while maintaining the functionality of their existing harness.

The primary function of the Ray Allen Nylon Harness Extension is to provide additional circumference when a compatible harness becomes too tight.

Working dogs can change in size due to growth, physical development or changes in body condition. Even a high-quality adjustable harness may eventually reach its maximum adjustment range.

The extension adds 5 inches of additional girth, allowing handlers to accommodate these changes without immediately purchasing a replacement harness.

Additional space can help prevent excessive tightness around the dog’s body while supporting comfortable movement during patrol, training and everyday activities.

However, the extension only increases the circumference at the compatible connection point. It does not change the overall harness geometry, chest length or shoulder positioning.

Always check the complete harness fit after installation.

The Ray Allen Nylon Harness Extension is manufactured from durable nylon webbing designed for regular use with professional working-dog equipment.

Its construction incorporates GT Cobra buckle hardware, providing a secure connection to compatible Ray Allen harnesses.

GT Cobra buckles are designed for demanding conditions and allow handlers to connect or disconnect compatible equipment efficiently.

The extension is intended for harnesses equipped with plastic GT Cobra buckles. It should not be assumed compatible with metal Cobra buckles or other fastening systems.

The nylon construction provides a practical combination of flexibility, durability and straightforward maintenance.

Regular inspection of the webbing, stitching and buckle connection helps maintain reliable performance.

The Ray Allen Nylon Harness Extension is designed for selected Ray Allen products featuring plastic GT Cobra buckles.

Compatible equipment includes:

This versatility makes the extension useful for handlers who already rely on Ray Allen equipment.

Before ordering, confirm that the existing harness uses the correct GT Cobra buckle configuration.

Important: The extension is sold individually. Additional extensions must be purchased separately if required.

Professional working dogs require equipment that fits correctly throughout their development and operational life.

The Ray Allen Nylon Harness Extension provides additional adjustment when a dog’s girth exceeds the available range of a compatible harness.

It can be particularly useful for:

By providing additional circumference, the extension can help reduce unnecessary equipment replacement.

However, handlers should ensure that the original harness remains suitable for the dog’s overall body proportions and intended activity.

The Ray Allen Nylon Harness Extension is designed for straightforward integration with compatible harness hardware.

Its GT Cobra buckle connection allows handlers to insert the extension into the appropriate fastening point, increasing the available adjustment range.

Once installed, the harness should be readjusted and checked for secure positioning.

Make sure the buckle is fully engaged, the webbing lies correctly against the dog’s body and the additional length does not create excessive looseness.

This practical design makes the extension convenient for professional handlers who need to adapt their existing equipment without replacing the complete harness.

The Ray Allen Nylon Harness Extension must only be used with compatible plastic GT Cobra buckle systems.

Before use, inspect the extension, buckle and original harness for damage or excessive wear.

Ensure the complete harness fits correctly and does not restrict movement, create pressure points or allow the dog to slip out.

The extension does not independently establish the load rating or suitability of the complete harness for lifting, rappelling or other specialized activities.

Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions and applicable operational safety procedures.

Inspect the nylon webbing, stitching and GT Cobra buckle regularly for signs of damage.

Remove dirt, sand and debris that could interfere with the fastening mechanism.

Clean according to the manufacturer’s instructions and allow the extension to dry completely before storage.

Replace the accessory if structural damage or compromised fastening hardware is detected.

The Ray Allen Nylon Harness Extension is a practical solution for professional K9 handlers who need additional adjustment from their existing Ray Allen equipment.

With its durable nylon construction, secure GT Cobra buckle connection and 5 inches of extra girth, it helps accommodate growing and larger working dogs without immediately replacing a compatible harness.

At Dogpride NL, we supply professional K9 equipment for police, military, security and specialist working-dog teams.

Extend the fit of your compatible Ray Allen harness with the Nylon Harness Extension for greater flexibility, comfort and continued operational use.

The Ray Allen Nylon Harness
